Flavor inspired by onions, basil, garlic and tamari sauce, enjoy this egg alternative minus the cholesterol but with double the taste.

Scrambled Tofu

1 block of crumbled tofu 2 tbs of minced onions ¼ cup margarine 2 tbs of diced red pepper 2 tbs nutritional yeast 1/2 tsp turmeric 3 tsp chopped fresh garlic ½ tsp basil ¼ cup Tamari sauce (to taste)

  1. Break up tofu with your hands.
  2. Put butter in the pan with the onions and red peppers and sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the tofu and the rest of ingredients and cook for 5 minutes on high heat.
